Reasons Why I Love Denver Dan
By Scott Parker:

• Rides a motorcycle like it has an on/off switch
Will never leave a friend to twist in the wind
Tries to be a hard ass, but is really a big softy
• Loves his children
• Has a Social Distortion tattoo that is often mistaken for a
Grateful Dead tattoo
• Is often mistaken for Jesse James and/or Mike Ness
• Crashes at least one vehicle per year
(usually around Memorial Day)
• Hates Led Zeppelin
• Is my daughter’s Godfather

Example of “Never leaving a guy to twist in the wind
I could have my family in the car, be on our way to a parent teacher conference, I don’t care, If someone is stuck on the side of the road, I’m pulling over to help. To me that bond is awesome. A while back, I blew my front tire going about 80 miles an hour in the fast lane just past dusk. It was dark at a transition on the freeway and I was stuck in the fast lane shoulder, twice the width of my bike, wearing a black t-shirt with cars going by, trying to get a hold of someone with a truck. Thank God for cell phones. CHP had gotten a call and they pulled up and asked if I was scared. I said I was a little nervous. The CHP officer was panicked and he asked what was I going to do? I said what what am I going to do? What are you going to do? The truck showed up, the flat couldn’t get fixed; I didn’t have a ramp so I pushed the bike between the center divider and my truck and scraped the truck. The CHP officer helped me get the bike in the truck which was awesome. I pull over whenever; I pull over more often than not. When somebody needs a part and you’re lucky enough to have it, I help someone out. Money doesn’t mean anything, who cares? I’d rather see that guy that I don’t even know or barely know riding his motorcycle.
