Ian Berky customizes cars down in Burbank, California. I had a chance to meet him and we sat in his garage one day and talked about how a Christmas gift from his wife had change the course of his life. This is a story of his determination to customize a car on his own and how he learned to make a living out of it.
JAC: How long have you been in Burbank?
JAC: How long have you been in Burbank?
Ian: About 17 years ago I moved here. I was in a band and was going to be a rock star!
2. JAC: What instrument did you play?
Ian: I sang and played guitar. It was a hard rock-Stone Temple Pilots type band. A little harder maybe, but we were just fuck ups back then. Drinking too much.
3. JAC: What else did you do?
Ian: I got into motion pictures. I'm still a teamster actually, but I've been working on cars for about a year and half now.
