Ian Berky lives in Burbank, California. Ian and I sat in his garage one day and talked about how a Christmas gift from his wife had change the course of his life. This is a story of determination and the strong desire to learn a craft.

JAC: How long have you been in Burbank?

Ian: About 17 years ago I moved here. I was in a band and was going to be a rock star!

2. JAC: What instrument did you play?

Ian: I sang and played guitar. It was a hard rock-Stone Temple Pilots type band. A little harder maybe, but we were just fuck ups back then. Drinking too much.

3. JAC: What else did you do?

Ian: I got into motion pictures. I'm still a teamster actually, but I've been working on cars for about a year and half now.
